Those suited androids can really be a pain, and it doesn't help that you have a limited amount of weapons that will do any sort of damage. Unfortunately, suited androids won't take damage from this item. Best used against a group when you are surrounded and need to escape. Throw one of these to temporarily disable an android, allowing you to attack without worry. The Flamethrower should be used only as a last resort, it is far more valuable agianst the Alien so keep that in mind.Īndroids are powerful, but they can't withstand an electromagnetic pulse.
Androids are resistant to fire, but they will stay aflame for a good amount of time taking damage until the fire is out.To become more effective, hit them a few times with the Maintenance Jack before setting them on fire. Metling away androids is always fun, but not very effective when used by itself.
